Refund and Return Policy

  • Please choose the event category carefully, confirmed registrations are non-refundable, non- transferable and cannot be modified. Provide us with a secure email ID/mobile number that you can access regularly since this will be our primary means of communication during the run-up to the event.

  • Users of email services that offer filtering/blocking of messages from unknown email addresses should add this email id info@fitistan.com to their address list.

  • We will be sending regular updates to the Mobile number you have provided in the registration form. This should not be treated as spam and you shall not take any action against our bulk SMS service provider.

  • Any notice sent to the email address registered with the organisers shall be deemed as received by the runners.

  • Use only the application modes suggested on this website to submit your entries.

  • Please thoroughly go through all relevant information given on the event website and application form prior to submitting your application.

  • Requests for participation cancellation, and thereby refund, will not be entertained.

  • The organisers reserve the right to ban participants if they are found to be anti-national, indulging in illegal activities and/or are abusive/behave rudely with the organising Fit Bharat Captains/ organisers/volunteers/vendors/third party contractors during the event.

  • Please fill out only those fields that are necessary for mailing purposes. Do not provide redundant data in multiple fields (i.e., do not list the same data for city, province and country), as this will only complicate our ability to contact you, if necessary.

  • You are aware that long distance running is an extreme sport and can be injurious to body and health. You take full responsibility for participating in the SOLDIERATHON event and do not hold the organising committee or any of its members or entities responsible for any injury , accident or death.

  • You shall consult your physician and undergo a complete medical examination to assess your suitability to participate in the event.

  • You also assume all risks associated with participating in this event including, but not limited to, falls, contact with other participants, the effects of the weather, including high heat or humidity, traffic and the condition of the road, arson, spread of covid 19 or terrorist threats and all other risks associated with a public event.

  • You agree that SOLDIERATHON shall not be liable for any loss, damage, illness,  injury or death that might occur as a result of your participation in the event.

  • You agree to abide by the instructions provided by the organisers from time to time in the best interest of your health and event safety.

  • You also agree to stop running if instructed by the Race director or the medical staff or by the aid station volunteers.

  • Only individual entries for walk/5km/10km run/cycling shall be accepted.

  • Soldierathon applicants who are running and cycling (5 Km/10km)must be 18 years and above as on 18 Dec ,2023 or date of event, whichever is earlier.

  • No children will be allowed below 6 yrs of age in any event of Soldierathon.

  • Children whose ages are above  6 yrs and less than 12 are allowed to Walk/Fun Run 3km /cycling.They must be accompanied by an adult  on Soldierathon 18 Dec  2023, who shall take full responsibility of the child’s safety and health.

  • You confirm that your name and media recordings taken during your participation may be used to publicise the event or any future event and shall at all times be the property of the organisers.

  • You  acknowledge and agree that your personal information can be stored and used by SOLDIERATHON or any other company in connection with the organisation in relation to promotion and administration of the event and for the compilation of statistical information.

  • You confirm that, in the event of adverse weather conditions, major incidents or threats on the day, any force majeure restriction by authority, the organisers reserve the right to stop/cancel/postpone the event. You understand that confirmed registrations and merchandise orders are non-refundable, non-transferable and cannot be modified. The organisers reserve the right to reject any application without providing reasons. Any amount collected from rejected applications alone will be refunded in full (excluding bank charges wherever applicable)

  • Runners are recommended to stay off the course beyond the cut-off time considering the safety and traffic regulations.

  • For any reason you cannot turn up on race day, no refund of any form will be given.

  • If this registration is being made on behalf of a minor, I confirm that I am the parent / guardian of the child and that he/She has my permission to take part in the event. I further concur that all the above rules shall apply to him/her as if he were a major.

  • Participants must personally appear for collecting the running Bibs. Bibs can be distributed in-absentee with written consent of the registered runners.

  • You are aware that running / long distance running/long distance cycling  is an extreme sport and can be injurious to body and health if any participant not adequately trained  for that.You take full responsibility for participating in Soldierathon Vijay Run/Cycling/walk on ,Dec 18th at your location and do not hold the organising Fit Bharat Captain/committee responsible for any physical/mental/emotional/financial mishap.  

  • You shall consult your physician and undergo complete medical examination to assess your suitability to participate in the physical event.

  • Grossly obese, diabetic,hypertensive or any sick individuals must consult their physician before participating in Soldierathon.You also assume all risks associated with participating in this event including, but not limited to, falls, contact with other participants, the effects of the weather, including high heat or humidity, severe cold, traffic and the condition of the road,injury, arson or terrorist threats, spread of covid 19 and all other risks associated with a public event..

  • Participants must personally appear for collecting the running T shirts at Fit Bharat Caption’s place of choosing  . T shirts can be distributed in-absentee with written consent of the registered runner/cyclist/Walker to Fit Bharat Captains.

 

Entry Confirmation

 

  • Confirmation of applications received will be subject to Entry Rules &

Guidelines given herein. 

  • Applications will also be subject to the Confirmation Criteria.

  • Post close of registrations, email confirmations will be sent to all the confirmed participants who have given their valid email id in the application form. 

  • No Physical acceptance letters will be sent to applicants who have not given their email address in the application form.

Application Status:

 

  • On application being successfully submitted, registrants will receive an email confirming their application.

 

Soldierathon Event Regulation ( WITH ZERO TOLERANCE)

 

You are to participate only in the category ( walk/run/cycling) for which you had applied or Fit Bharat Captain decided and for which your entry has been confirmed. Your entry is not transferable to any other person under any circumstance.

 

The Promoter/Organising Fit Bharat Captain reserves the right to disqualify or exclude any person from the event who gives incorrect personal data/details on the entry form, who has been banned from competition/participation under IAAF jurisdiction, or who is suspected of having taken banned substances. Or any individual found involved in anti-National activities or illegal activities by security agencies of the country .

 

Confirmed  participants must wear the current Soldierathon event T-shirt to participate in the event .

Any person found wearing the incorrect /wrong T-shirt can be disqualified/removed by Fitistan-Ek Fit Bharat Captain .

 

Organisers /FITISTAN - Ek Fit Bharat Captain(s) reserve the right to stop any participant from participating who is found medically unfit to continue in the opinion of the medical personnel.

For security reasons, participants are requested to come, as far as possible, without any baggage. It is strongly recommended that you do not leave valuables like mobile phone, camera, jewellery, watch, electronic gadgets, etc. in the bag stored. FITistan-Ek Fit Bharat Captain /Organisers are not responsible for any loss or baggage and belongings.

 

Participants are requested to cooperate with the /FITistan-Ek Fit Bharat Captain and security personnel (if any) deputed at the event venues and on route. Participants/supporters are liable to random checking on race day for your own security.

 

Photographs taken of runners/walkers /cyclist during any Soldierathon event organised prior to and on event  day 18 Dec can be used for the purpose of promoting the Soldierathon event and any future event and participants can’t take any legal action against the organisers

.

Participation Medal on the event Day will be given by your FITistan-Ek Fit Bharat Captain or in case you are running at your own place medal will be sent to you by Courier with T shirt and certificate.

There is no special prize money to any participant of Soldierathon except Soldierathon Vijay medal & participation certificate.

 

Soldierathon  Achiever Medal

All participants of the Soldierathon Dec 18,2023 will get a Achievers  Medal post their respective event on race day.

 

Critical Supplies will be available in certain junctures of the MARATHON Route but it’s compulsory for runners to carry their own water bottles with them.
